Journal profile:
The Diabetic Foot Journal is THE journal for healthcare professionals involved in the care of the diabetic foot.
The journal is now in its 10th year. It provides a unified educational and communication vehicle for all healthcare professionals who are involved in the management of the diabetic foot. Working with these professionals, the journal brings the reader the most topical, practical and relevant content available in the field.
There are many decision makers involved in the management of the diabetic foot such as podiatrists, diabetologists, district nurses and GPs. The journal’s emphasis is very much on the multidisciplinary team – with a central team or individual, often the podiatrist, co-ordinating the patient’s care.
Published quarterly The Diabetic Foot Journal is requested by over 16,000 healthcare professionals, including over 6,000 podiatrists, every member of the Tissue Viability Nurses Association, all members of the Footpressure Interest Group, as well as other members of the multidisciplinary team.
