National Exhibition Centre
Birmingham

I am delighted to introduce the 4th National Conference of the Primary Care Diabetes Society (PCDS), which is now the predominant primary care diabetes event in the conference calendar. Organised by the PCDS – the only association solely committed to the needs of primary care diabetes – this year’s conference will continue to promote interaction and learning among the whole range of healthcare professionals working within primary care in order to improve the care of people with diabetes. Clinical, political and educational ‘hot topics’ will be examined in relation to their impact on future aspects of the care we deliver. I hope you will choose to support this important event and I look forward to welcoming you to Birmingham in November 2008.’
Also Following on from the success of last year's conference, the Society is pleased to announce the third PCDS Poster Exhibition at the conference. The posters will allow individuals to share information and acknowledge ideas and innovations within primary care, as well as network.
